Zimmerman’s Resort 22 collection is an immediate invitation to go on Holiday. It transports you to a summery location where the orange and pink sunsets cure all.

The collection takes inspiration from memories of past holidays in Australia, when happiness and simple pleasures lead the decisions when getting ready for fun and adventures. It features easy co-ord sets, shift silhouettes paired with relaxed shirts and flat shoes. Natural textures such as crocheted raffia in the form of bucket hats and straw bags contrast against the more signature silk, linen and cotton pieces.

Dresses with cinched-waist silhouettes nod to the popular 30s, 40s and 50s travel posters by James Northfield that have been incorporated throughout the collection. The dresses are embellished with shells, ships and jellyfish as a homage to the vast Australian coastline. Nautical themes are present in all forms from patterns, to silhouettes, to accessories.

Full skirts, bouncy hems and voluminous blouses move like a summer breeze. Painted patterns and hand-gathered flowers casually decorate the clothes. The signature femininity that Zimmerman is renowned for comes in the form of underwire bodices, billowing bows, custom woven lace, and sculpted wedge heels in pearlescent shell. The show ends with a cascade of ombre gowns that remind you of summer sunsets.
